The Scholar by Aluel Cellars is a special edition Bordeaux-style red blend created in collaboration with the Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA). With every purchase, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to supporting the GSBA Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to LGBTQ and allied students in support of their pursuit of higher education. This special edition red wine is offered at $19.90 a bottle to commemorate the founding of the GSBA Scholarship Fund in 1990.
Gorgeous garnet in color, this Bordeaux-style red blend exhibits notes of black cherries, spiced nuts, cassis, and raspberries on the nose, and plum, ripe cherries, huckleberries, and vanilla framed with smooth, velvety tannins on the palate. With only 206 cases produced, this special edition wine will not
