Utilizing modern and traditional Japanese woodworking methods turns contemporary shapes into elegant, lightweight and distinctly Japanese pieces. Japanese Zelkova (elm) wood is durable, strong, and prized in Japan for building traditional furniture and structures. Lacquered to bring out the grain, these pieces are as functional as they are beautiful. Suggested uses: tea, soup, rice, ice cream, etc. Hand washing is recommended. Not microwave and dishwasher safe. Made in Yamanaka Prefecture.
